Why Give.

Every year many qualified high school students fail to enroll in colleges or universities because they need financial assistance.    These young people need an opportunity to cultivate their minds and have an opportunity to create a better future for themselves, their families, their community and the world.  The challenges facing our youth today are especially numerous and daunting.

The Virginia Scholarship and Youth Development Foundation's (VSYDF)mission  is to create "universal understanding through education".  Our scholarship recipients are truly  trying to make a better life for themselves and their families.  With a college education they can achieve their goals, and with your help, we can continue to assist students in making their dream of a college education come true.
